Double asterisk (**) indicates that registrants must be 13 years or older OR Second Class rank or higher.

In addition, Nuclear Science merit badge participants have the opportunity to visit the Edwards Particle Accelerator at Ohio University on February 29th, 2020 to fulfill a requirement. This opportunity to visit this controlled facility is only open to Nuclear Science merit badge participants. An attending Scout may bring one parent; however, siblings, friends, or walk-ins are not allowed. The counselor, Robert Bryan, will be coordinating the trip.
